Beat SCAD supports people affected by a heart condition that can’t be predicted or prevented – Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD). We raise funds for research into the condition, raise awareness and educate healthcare professionals, patients and the general public, and support patients and families.
We are looking for an experienced accountant to help us with our annual accounts and report and independent examination. Knowledge of the regulations relating to charities (based in England & Wales) is essential.
Our current accountant, who has done the accounts since we launched the charity in 2015, has done the accounts for our year ending September 2021 but is retiring, so we want to recruit a volunteer by August 2022 so we are ready to produce the accounts and report for the year ending September 2022.
This will be an ongoing role.
Beat SCAD is run by volunteers and we have no premises. The majority of our income is donated to research into SCAD.
See our previous accounts on the Charity Commission website: https://register-of-charities.charitycommission.gov.uk/charity-details/?regid=1164066&subid=0
