At Breck Foundation we are at the forefront of efforts to safeguard vulnerable tech and internet users. Our priority is children and young people’s digital resilience & online safety. As our Treasurer, you will help strengthen our financial resilience.

We inform, educate and campaign to help young people and the wider UK public reclaim the internet from those who seek to harm others through it.

Our charity was Founded in 2014 by Lorin LaFave in memory of her son, Breck Bednar, a 14-year-old boy, who was groomed and then murdered by someone he met online. The organization has since been committed to producing generations of internet savvy online tech users by working with policy makers, tech companies and the wider public to put young people’s online safety first, and by working together with young people themselves to co-produce and co-deliver innovative programmes. Our educational programmes reach thousands of students, parents and safeguarding professionals each year.
