Job Details
For all trustees, you are likely to have director-level experience in your own profession, familiarity with charity or non-profit governance (ideally in a membership organisation), and an interest in and commitment to advancing knowledge of Asia.
Applicants with an accountancy background are likely to be ACCA or ACA qualified and to be familiar with charity accounting. The person appointed will be expected to become, in addition, a member of the Society’s Finance and Investment Committee.

Advancing Knowledge of Asia. The RSAA exists to advance public knowledge and understanding of Asia through its worlewide network, its public events, its publications and its support to research. Based in London, the Society has a global membership and audience. It was founded (as the Central Asian Society) in 1901 and the its quarterly journal, Asian Affairs, published continuously since 1914, is held by most major libraries around the world.
