Treasurer / Trustee

From first cervical screening to living with, and beyond cancer, Jo’s is just a call away. Our vision is for cervical cancer to be a thing of the past but, until we get there, we want everyone to have the support they need. This is an exciting time to join as Treasurer Trustee of our Charity. We are developing our new long-term strategy with the aim of eliminating cervical cancer in the UK and are looking for a Treasurer who has the skills and vision support the Board and the wider team in this aspiration.

As a Board member our trustees are volunteers with a specific legal responsibility to:

•            Ensure our aims and objectives are being met

•            Act in the best interest of the charity

•            Manage responsibility what we have (such as our people and our money)

•            Act with reasonable care and skill

Specifically as Treasurer we are looking for someone who can provide scrutiny and assurance relating to our finances and help us to deliver a long-term finance plan to support our new strategy. We are looking for a qualified accountant as well as the passion of, and commitment to, the work of Jo’s and what we want to achieve in the future.
