AECC University College is currently seeking to appoint a number of governors to the Board.   Whilst the Board of Governors already has a breadth and depth of experience, candidates with skills and experience in one or more of the following would be welcomed:

Finance & Accountancy
Higher Education
Digital / IT
Estates
NHS / Clinical oversight
Entrepreneurship

Candidates will provide experience of contributing to the shaping of strategy and review of performance objectives, have the ability to maintain a strategic focus, challenge management decision-making processes and outcomes, and demonstrate a well-developed commercial acumen. We are keen to increase our Diversity at Board level and particularly welcome applications from Women and BAME Candidates.   

Members of the Board are expected to contribute approximately ten to fourteen days a year; the Board meets four times a year and in addition the committees meet three or four times a year.  Other briefings may take place between meetings. The roles are not remunerated, although reasonable expenses are reimbursed.  AECC University College is committed to equality and diversity and hopes these roles will appeal to those from all sections of the community.
