We are looking for two new trustees, including a Nations trustee for Wales, to join our highly engaged Board.
Carers UK is the leading national charity for unpaid carers, we support, advocate for, champion and connect carers across the UK, so that no one has to care alone. Our vision is a society that recognises, values and supports carers. Our mission to make life better for carers.
It’s an exciting time to be part of Carers UK, as we head towards our 60th anniversary in 2025. We have set out our direction of travel with our three focus areas: Equality, Support and Recognition. Our Board of Trustees plays a vital leadership role in the work we do while ensuring the charity is equipped and governed effectively, establishing and monitoring strategy and ensuring we are true to our values and keep carers at the heart of everything we do.
If you would like to have a genuine impact on the charity and our beneficiaries, please download the Trustee recruitment pack below.
If you have any questions about the role, please email recruitment@carersuk.org
Closing date: Friday 15 July 2022 5pm
Interviews: August 2022 – in London or online
Carers UK is committed to becoming a diverse and truly inclusive organisation. To embrace this culture of diversity, our Trustee recruitment should reflect our stakeholders and the society that we serve and support, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, physical abilities, disabilities or religious practices. We value individual diversity and are actively building a diverse Board here at Carers UK and we welcome applications from a wide range of backgrounds.
