LEGS is a set of international standards and guidelines for livestock interventions that assist people affected by disasters. Through training, publishing, advocacy, and dialogue, we promote these standards worldwide, working through our global community of practice.
Trustees will have one or more of the following:
- Experience of charity governance
- Experience of humanitarian programming and a commitment to this being locally led
- Familiarity with the livestock sector in developing countries
Professional expertise in any of the following areas
- fundraising
- human resource development
- financial management
All trustees ensure that LEGS fulfils its statutory duties as a charity
