Your Sanctuary provides specialist support to survivors of domestic abuse. We are looking for a new volunteer Trustee to join our experienced and dedicated Board. In particular we are looking for a new Treasurer with a broad range of financial experience. You will have oversight of the Your Sanctuary accounts, review our financial performance and policies for finance and investment, and ensure that we have effective controls in place. You will liaise closely with our Finance Manager on a regular basis. All of our Trustees must have empathy to our cause and a willingness to use their skills to help develop the overall vision, strategy and impact of Your Sanctuary. As well as some initial training, you would need to be able to commit to six half day board meetings each year and one 'away day' (within the Woking area). You will also need to provide support and advice on an ad hoc basis when your area of expertise is required.
