Trustee

The work of Arts for Health MK is multi-faceted. The charity curates and exhibits outstanding art which explores the intersection between health, wellbeing, social and peer support, identity, digital spaces, and creativity. It provides a wide range of creative activities (including art, drama and music) in the interests of social welfare for people who have need of them by reason of illness, their youth, age, infirmity or disability. In all instances, the charity seeks to improve quality of life, enable creativity, and increase engagement amongst all ages and social groups.

The charity is currently looking for trustees to recruit to their board.

Individuals are sought who have a strong empathy with their mission to Improve health and wellbeing through art and creativity. Experience and knowledge about the Health Sector and/or interest in creativity are particularly sought.

• Demonstrable experience in building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues to achieve organisational objectives

• A proven track record of sound judgment and effective decision making

• A history of impartiality, fairness, and the ability to respect confidences • A track record of commitment to promoting equality and diversity

Those with either a finance or comms/marketing experience are current vacancies the charity is looking to fill.
