Procurement Specialist Trustee - educational support charity

Do you have public sector procurement experience? Would you like to put your procurement skills to valuable use by helping to improve the life chances of children and young people?

If you have a background in public sector procurement and are experienced in managing major contracts we’d love to hear from you.

The charity is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join its Board as it leads the charity into a new era of growth and influence.

The team is working tirelessly to promote access to education for all and has developed a range of interventions and support to give vulnerable children and young people the opportunity to be the best they can be.

The Opportunity:

Increasing numbers of children and young people are affected by social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties that inhibit their progress and limit their life chances. nurtureuk is undergoing a period of growth and transformation as its work becomes more vital than ever.

The charity is looking for a Procurement Specialist Trustee who is able to:

• Advise how to monitor contractual performance and negotiations

• Have experience of large, complex procurements

• A full understanding of public sector procurement regulations

We’re looking for people who have enthusiasm, leadership skills and a commitment to education. You’ll have the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse and busy Board to ensure that nurtureuk achieves its aims and purposes, acts within its stated charitable interests, is accountable, well governed and manages risks.
