We need a volunteer accountant to prepare our annual accounts for Companies House, HMRC and to advise us on registration for VAT and to prepare VAT returns if we do register for VAT.
We keep our general ledger in 'Google sheets. We would like to meet you but could work completely remotely if that is more convenient for you.
We have a turnover of about £20k. We are a not-for-profit social enterprise run entirely by volunteers.
In 20/21, there were fewer than 200 transactions, we hope for slightly more this year, but the bookkeeping part if small and under control.
Our main income is from Leasing office space and a cafe space, our main expenditure is energy and building maintenance, we give our grants with any surplus
We need reserves for any major building repairs or kitchen equipment breakdown.
