We are currently seeking a new trustee to join the Board of the Prior’s Court Foundation and be part of two of our Board sub-committees. The focus of the new role will be on financial management, so you will need to have significant experience in this area.
To be considered as a trustee you will be asked to be available to attend half day sub-committee meetings at Prior’s Court (Hermitage, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG18 9NU), on a quarterly cycle, as well as an annual ‘away day’ (local to Newbury) where we update our long term strategy. Including preparation time, you should expect to dedicate circa ten days per annum to your work as a trustee (although we would appreciate more of your time, if you are able to offer this, as there are always ad hoc project activities which benefit from the involvement of our trustees).
This is a voluntary role, but expenses for travel are payable on the same basis as staff at Prior’s Court.
Our trustees all serve an initial term of three years. Subject to Board approval, the term can be extended for a maximum of nine years in total
