Volunteer at The Battle of Ideas Festival

The Battle of Ideas Festival is an annual FREE SPEECH public event where we debate contemporary issues in a full and frank manner. With 3K+ attendees, 400+ speakers and 100+ debates over two days, we need a team of enthusiastic and committed volunteers to support us for this year’s festival in London on the 15^th and 16^th of October.

What can our volunteers do?

-Registration Desk- Work at the registration desk, supporting high-profile speakers, guests, other volunteers and attendees as they arrive throughout the weekend.

-Stewarding- Key to the smooth running of the debates, stewards work with the chairperson of their room to make sure debates are ready to go on time, provide microphone support during so that everybody’s contribution can be heard, and make sure debates do not overrun.
