Audit and Risk Committee coptee

The Cornwall College Group, is governed by a Corporation Board comprising twenty Governors drawn from business and the community, with staff and student representatives. 

Having recently achieved an Ofsted Good judgment, the Board’s Audit and Risk Committee are keen to appoint a Co-opted Committee member with specialist skills and experience in any aspect of audit processes and/ or institutional risk monitoring.  The Committee meets four times each academic year and advises the Board on the adequacy and effectiveness of the Group’s assurance framework, including systems of internal control and its arrangements for risk management.  The Committee also advises and supports the Board in explaining the measures taken to ensure it has fulfilled its statutory and regulatory responsibilities.
