Do you want to use your finance expertise to help promote the protection of people from, and the prevention of sexual crime?
Safer Living Foundation is a registered charity focused on reducing sexual offending and re-offending through rehabilitative and preventative initiatives. We are currently seeking a new Treasurer to help guide the charity’s finances as we grow and develop. Our Trustees set our strategic direction and ensure we are having the greatest impact possible. They are instrumental in providing the governance that supports the organisation to thrive.
We are looking for an experienced finance professional with demonstrated commercial awareness and knowledge. The Treasurer will:
- Present financial reports to the board in a format that helps the board understand the charity’s financial position
- advise the board on how to carry out its financial responsibilities
- Oversee the scrutiny of annual accounts.
The board meets at least six times a year in Nottingham and the finance committee meet once per month via teams.
