Art History Link-Up (AHLU) is an educational charity founded in 2016 offering free art history courses to state supported students in museums and galleries, and online, on term time Saturdays. Galleries including the National Gallery, Wallace Collection, Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Courtauld Institute offer us teaching space and resources free of charge. Only eight state schools offer Art History A level however over 100 students from across the UK have studied for an Art History A level and / or Extended Project Qualification with AHLU. Studying with us is transformational for our students - they tell us so themselves - and in turn they are transforming the sector. Our core funding is from the Rothschild Foundation and our partners include Christie's and the Courtauld Institute of Art.
