KIDS
Treasurer
September 2022
KIDS works with around 15,000 disabled children, young people and family members each year across England; during 2021 we delivered over 225,000 hours face to face support and 40,000 hours support online. We support children of all ages, from babies through to young adults, whatever their disability. We are continually developing our expertise and sharing it with others. We are proud of our achievements but know how far there is to go before every disabled child and young person leads a fulfilled life and families are supported at every stage.
We are now recruiting for a new Treasurer. This is an exciting opportunity to support the growth, impact, innovation and systemic reform ambition of KIDS’ inspirational five-year strategy, launched earlier this year and designed in partnership the disabled children, young people and families that KIDS support.
The Treasurer will be a qualified accountant, preferably familiar with charity finance. As Treasurer, you will additionally Chair the Finance and Audit Committee and provide advice to the Board and Executive Leadership Team on the financial implications of strategic decisions.
Lived experience of disability as a disabled person or family member is strongly desirable; a genuine interest, fluency and credibility in this area, and commitment to the vision and values of KIDS, is a must.
To apply, please click on the link and you are welcome to contact Usma Collins at Society. The deadline for receipt of applications is midday on Thursday 20th October 2022.
