TLC-St Luke’s are looking for a Treasurer!

TLC-St Luke’s is a charity that has been delivering Arts and Mental Health Drop-In Projects for almost 30 years in the central Manchester area. Our mission is to provide activities and resources for individuals who experience mental and emotional distress, including psychiatric illness.

We are looking for a treasurer - someone to bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to our organisation, steering us as we negotiate a period of change, build future sustainability, and develop our vision for the future. If you are committed to helping TLC-St. Luke’s realise its potential, we’d welcome your application. Successful candidates will believe passionately in the benefits of community drop-ins and the arts for health and wellbeing.

The Treasurer will have expertise is accountancy and/or charity finance. They will have an overview of all aspects of the financial management of the organisation, ensuring its financial viability and ensuring that proper processes and procedures exist for assuring all financial records, decisions and delegations are maintained.

If you want to put your skills to good use whilst doing worthwhile and necessary voluntary work for a charity, then we’d love to welcome you to our board.

Recruitment is ongoing. Informal interviews will be arranged at a mutually convenient time. Candidates successful at interview will be invited to observe a future Board Meeting, during which your appointment will be confirmed.
