We are looking for new Trustees with a range of different skills and experiences to shape and steer the future of Gypsies and Travellers Wales. Our trustees oversee the overall management and administration of the charity and play a critical role in making sure that we achieve our core purpose. Trustees ensure that we have a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. You will help set the direction of GT Wales and hold staff to account, making sure we're always doing the best we possibly can for Gypsies and Travellers in Wales

If you become a GT Wales trustee, you will be guiding a charity that's been helping Gypsies and Travellers in Wales for over forty years. Gypsies and Travellers who, unfortunately are still facing many of the same challenges they were when we began; a lack of appropriate accommodation, where it does exist it is often of poor quality; there are still no stopping places; poor access to public services and facing discrimination daily. Since our inception we have been working tirelessly to address the impact of these problems, but you will be joining us at an exciting time as we begin to channel more energy on addressing the root causes of these issues to affect real change for Gypsies and Travellers living in Wales. You will be joining a trustee team with a vast amount of personal and professional experience across a whole range of fields, including charity, business, government, finance, and education. You’ll be warmly welcomed, participate fully in the governance of our charity and all that entails, and supported to develop your skills.
