Battersea's Board of Trustees and its Committees are a vital part of its work, bringing their considerable experience and skills along with real enthusiasm and commitment to this important governance role. We’re looking for a Co-opted member to join our Finance, Audit & Risk Committee.

We’d really like to hear from you if you are CCAB qualified with significant current senior financial leadership experience senior leadership experience in a major accountancy firm, large charity or social enterprise or large commercial organisation. 

You will be able to think strategically and creatively, communicate clearly, and constructively contribute to the full range of issues considered by the Committee. You will be willing to advocate for and promote our achievements and impacts, and to support our efforts to widen our reach nationally and internationally.

You will join our Finance, Audit & Risk Committee (FARC) which meets four times a year with the Chief Executive, Director of Finance & Corporate Services, our internal and external auditors and our investment managers.  There may also be ad hoc requests for additional support and input. Co-opted Members are also warmly encouraged to meet staff, volunteers, supporters and to attend fundraising and other events wherever possible. This is a volunteer unremunerated role.
