The WFGA is seeking a new Treasurer. The successful applicant will have responsibility for managing and ensuring good financial practice, to oversee the accounts input, risk assessments, charitable monies, and investments. They support the WFGA Chair, Trustees, and office staff by providing financial clarity and decision making. They should should possess financial good sense, ability to analyse and interpret figures presented by external parties (bookkeeping and accountants). Ability to manage budgets and support the Charity in its key functions.
On average the role requires approx 1.5 hours a week on Treasurer/Trustee duties (second authorisation of payments) and is required to join Board Meetings (on zoom, in person) 4-5 times a year as well as AGM attendance.
