The Trust is seeking to appoint a Trustee with expertise in finance, audit and risk to be a member of
the Trust Board and to be Chair of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.
This is a key post for our expanding Trust, to ensure careful stewardship of public funds, maintenance of the Trust's good financial health, and the monitoring of the significant risks facing the education sector in the current period and any required mitigations.
The Finance, Audit and Risk committee oversees the Trust's financial governance, risk management and
internal control systems. It is also responsible for reporting findings termly and annually to the Trust Board
and the Accounting Officer (CEO) as part of the Trust's annual reporting requirements. Our financial health is
essential to the confident and compassionate decisions we make in service of our communities.
The post is a great opportunity to further develop your leadership skills in a non-executive context, and to
work with a committed and talented team of volunteer Trustees. Above all, the successful candidates will be
aligned with the Trust's mission to inspire children and young people in South London to excel through
education which transforms lives and strengthens its diverse communities.
