Greenwich Carers Centre is a charity and a company limited by guarantee. The Treasurer is a trustee director and is responsible for all the financial aspects of the charity's activities.
In particular, the Treasurer has the following responsibilities:-
Oversight of the service provided by the charity's book-keeper
Preparation and presentation to the Board of quarterly and annual management accounts, including cash flow reports
Oversight of the bank account, payment of staff salaries and significant purchases
Advice to the Board on all financial matters
Supervision of the annual accounts process, including liaison with the auditors
