Do you want to use your finance expertise to help promote the protection of people from, and the prevention of, sexual crime?

Safer Living Foundation is a registered charity focused on reducing sexual offending and re-offending through rehabilitative and preventative initiatives. We are currently seeking a new Treasurer to help guide the charity’s finances as we grow and develop.

We are looking for an experienced finance professional with demonstrated commercial awareness and knowledge.

As Treasurer, you help the board carry out their financial responsibilities by:

  • Presenting financial reports to the board in a format that helps the board understand the charity’s financial position.
  • Advising the board on how to carry out its financial responsibilities.
  • Overseeing the scrutiny of annual accounts.

Our Trustees set our strategic direction and ensure we are having the greatest impact possible. They are instrumental in providing the governance that supports the organisation to thrive.

The board meets at least six times a year in Nottingham and the finance committee meet once per month via teams.
