Trustee Treasurer

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sand Dams Worldwide board of trustees as our new Treasurer. We are looking for a motivated and organised individual with accounting experience, who is also enthusiastic about international development and conservation.

About Sand Dams Worldwide

Sand Dams Worldwide is an award-winning charity supporting rural communities in drylands to build sand dams, which provide clean water for life and the opportunity to develop their livelihoods.

About the role

Our trustees are volunteers, responsible under the governing document of Sand Dams Worldwide for controlling the management and administration of Sand Dams Worldwide. Our treasurer will take the lead, at a trustee level, on board level matters related to the financial management of the charity.

We are seeking a qualified accountant who shares Sand Dams Worldwide's philosophy and values, as well as our vision to enable millions of the world's poorest people to transform their own lives.

Expected commitment: Average of 4-5 hours per month (minimum)

Preferred start date: ASAP
