The Greenfield Valley Trust in north Wales is looking for a trustee with a strong financial background to join our Board. The Trust’s role is to protect and enhance the beautiful Greenfield Valley with its important medieval religious sites, former industrial mills (now scheduled monuments), beautiful water areas originally developed to power industry, visitor centre, play area, café and the largest museum in Flintshire.
As the Trust implements its new 10-year strategy enhancing the Valley, largely the use of through external grant funding, we are looking for someone to support our experienced finance lead board member with a view to taking over the lead role in the short term.
We are looking for someone to support our experienced finance lead board member with a view to taking over the lead role in the short term. The Trust is delivering its ten year plan and seeks a finance expert who can support this whilst ensuring propriety and helping us develop a financially sustainable future. The Trust has external accountants, uses Xero software and works closely with the staff using the Flintshire County Council financial systems. This is one of several trustee roles currently being advertised. All trustees will be expected to contribute to ensure the efficient and effective running of the Trust across all its responsibilities.
