Hammersley Homes was established in 2018 to provide support for life for vulnerable adults who live with enduring mental health challenges and illnesses – through the provision of Outreach Services, Day Centres and Supported Homes for Life.
Our Board of Trustees currently consists of 7 enthusiastic, dedicated and determined Trustees who share a passion: to improve the lives of the large numbers of unfortunate people who suffer from enduring mental illness. By providing long-term support for this vulnerable sector, their lives are enriched with a sense of community and purpose, and the confusion and loneliness reduced - Safety, Security, Comfort & Friendship - For Life.
But our Board lacks certain skill sets, and we would like to invite applications to join us on the Board, who might be able to contribute Accountancy expertise and who is interested in helping us make a real difference to the lives of sufferers of enduring mental illness
We currently have 8 paid employees (mostly part-time) and a team of dedicated volunteers who work with us on our Outreach Service, as well as general admin and research, IT and social media, event organising and fundraising campaigns.
