What will you be doing?

The responsibilities of such a Trustee typically include for instance, drawing on their commercial experience, to contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and ensuring the charity's resources are used effectively and efficiently, assist in developing long-term strategies for our charity's growth and sustainability, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement. Please see candidate pack for more details.

This role can be done mainly at home or mainly at the office.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience and understanding of social care, ideally in the third or public sector
  • Willingness and ability to understand and accept their responsibilities and liabilities as Trustees and to act in the best interests of the organisation

  • Enthusiasm for our vision and mission
  • Willingness to lead according to our values

Ambient Support is deeply committed to inclusive working practices, so during the application process we commit to:

  • Paying for childcare whilst you’re at interviews where these take place in person

We have recently gained Great Places to Work accreditation and we have ambitious plans to continue our journey to ensure that Ambient is a welcoming and inclusive workplace.
