Treasurer (Volunteer Board Trustee)

Since 1999, Simeon Centre Counselling Service has offered a confidential counselling service, free at the point of need, for people living in and around Bolton. We provide this in partnership with five other counselling services in the town as well as NHS England.

We have strong links in the local community, not only within our network of counselling organisations and NHS England, but with other mental health support charities and numerous colleges and universities across Greater Manchester.

We are looking for a new Treasurer on our Board of Trustees to replace our former officer, who has stepped back after volunteering with us for the past eight years.

As our new Treasurer, you will join the other six members on our Board of Trustees, who meet once a quarter to improve, and shape the direction of our service.

We are looking for someone with a passion for mental health and supporting some of the most vulnerable people in Bolton.

You will also be asked to support our charity through approving bank payments and reviewing the annual accounts.
