Treasurer

We need someone who’s good with numbers to help children get better with words

Little Green Pig is a registered charity who offers free creative writing and mentoring workshops for children and young people in Brighton & Hove and across Sussex.

We are looking for a new Treasurer to join our lively, engaged Board. You do not need any charity experience – our last Treasurer was the Finance Director of a tech start-up. You will have a passion to support young people’s creativity, have professional financial experience, an ability to analyse proposals and examine their financial consequences, and the skills to communicate the underlying messages behind financial information. You will have the time to give – in addition to quarterly meetings, around 3 hours a month, daytime or evening, offering support to our Director and Finance Officer. We will offer training where needed to help you quickly find your way around the role.
