Treasurer/Finance trustee

Brighter Together is seeking a Treasurer to help us develop and enhance our financial management as we seek to grow over the next few years. We are an exciting and pioneering intergenerational Charitable Incorporated Organisaton. We link care homes or day centres with local pre-schools and schools to participate in regular, joint sessions aimed at improving wellbeing of both groups and supporting the development of the children.

We are fortunate to have received grants from City Bridge Foundation and Betty Messenger Foundation, totalling £135,000, to help us expand the programme to 20 projects over the next two years. Integral to our continued growth is the need to evolve and enhance our financial systems and processes, and we are seeking a new trustee to join the Board of Trustees and lead this work in collaboration with our Chief Executive. The Treasurer will be our lead finance trustee, advising and supporting the Board and staff team to ensure that we are effectively managing and monitoring our financial sustainability and risk, enhancing our current systems as we expand, and delivering on statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
