Make Space for Girls is a charity which campaigns for better parks and public spaces for teenage girls.  At present, almost all the facilities which councils and others provide ‘for teenagers’ are dominated by boys and we are working to change this inequality.

The charity was founded in March 2021, and has already created significant impact in a relatively short space of time, and we are now looking to build on this success. Our current work includes research, engagement with teenage girls and supporting architects, designers and councils, as well as advocating for policy change.

We are looking for a financial professional to join our Board of Trustees as a Treasurer.  We are looking for someone with finance experience who can oversee reporting, forecasting and financial management, ensure that the charity is compliant with all the relevant regulations and share their expertise to help the charity make the best use of its funds to create better places for teenage girls.
