The post being requested is that of Treasurer / Trustee of the Friends of Worcester Cathedral (Charity Number 517009).  The Treasurer will maintain the accounting records, make Gift Aid claims and advise, firstly, the other officers and secondly, the Executive (the Trustees)  on the financial position and make recommendations. The present Treasurer will retire shortly but is happy to advise anyone interested and will be ready to have a handover period.  The office of the Friends is in Worcester but some work can be done from home.  More information is available from the Chair, Mrs Sue Thomas on FriendsChairman@worcestercathedral.org.uk
