The role of the Honorary Treasurer for the Crafts Study Centre is to oversee the Trustees’ funds, working alongside the CSC Director, who also acts as the Secretary to the Trustees. The Hon Treasurer makes a report to each meeting of the board of Trustees (currently two meetings a year, one a year in Farnham and one a year in London) and oversees the end of year report and statement of accounts which are approved by Trustees and then sent to the Charity Commission for England and Wales, after being reviewed by an independent account firm. It is expected that the Hon. Treasurer will also chair meetings of the Risk Committee, which take place once or twice a year on an ad hoc basis.
