Finance Trustee to join the Board of East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services (ESDAS)
We are looking for a courageous, committed and innovative individual who wants to play their part in ending the social injustice of domestic abuse and violence.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Finance Trustee: The role of the Finance Trustee is to monitor the financial administration of the charity and report to the board of trustees at regular intervals on its financial health in line with best practice and in compliance with its Articles of Association and the requirements of the Charity Commission and Companies House. Overseeing budgets, internal management accounts, and annual financial statements with the board of trustees with the support of the Head of Finance. Leading on the board's duty to ensure that proper accounting records are kept, financial resources are properly controlled, invested and economically spent, in line with good governance, legal and regulatory requirements.
We are looking for a finance professional with strategic vision and good independent judgement. A knowledge of charity finance is an advantage, or otherwise and enthusiasm to learn.
