Job Details

The Cambridge Film Trust is seeking new trustees to join us in our work running the Cambridge Film Festival and promoting film culture and education in Cambridge, the Eastern region, and across the UK.

Our flagship event is the annual Cambridge Film Festival, one of the longest-running film festivals in the country. We also deliver screenings, events, and educational programmes year-round, enabling people to be moved by, learn about, and interact with film.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who share our passion for cinema and want to help shape the future of the Cambridge Film Festival as we modernise, diversify, and expand our reach.

We are seeking individuals who have a love of cinema and a passion for engaging diverse audiences with a broad range of films – especially films that might not otherwise be seen.

Company

The Cambridge Film Trust is a registered charity with a mission to foster film culture and education for the benefit of the public in Cambridge, the Eastern region and throughout the UK.

Business and Financial Expertise: We welcome trustees with financial acumen, particularly in the context of arts organisations, to help oversee the Trust’s financial planning and sustainability.

Our flagship event is the Cambridge Film Festival, presented annually by the Trust. The Festival is the second longest-running film festival in the UK, founded in 1977 and presenting the best of UK and independent international cinema for over 40 years.
