Sound Connections is seeking a Finance Trustee to join our Board and help shape the future of our organisation. If you’re passionate about music, social impact, and financial governance, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Trustee, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our mission to create high-quality musical opportunities for young people, strengthen the music education sector, and champion diversity and inclusion.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Knowledge of charity finance, accounting, and governance.
  • An understanding of financial risks facing arts charities and strategies to address them.
  • The ability to communicate financial issues clearly to our Board.

You’ll need to devote approximately 6–8 days per year, including quarterly Board meetings.

At Sound Connections, we’re committed to diversity and actively encourage applications from those underrepresented in the cultural sector, including individuals who have experienced racism or face disabling barriers.

Deadline for applications: 9am, Monday 24th February 2025

To apply, please submit your CV and a brief covering letter or video explaining why you’d make a great Trustee.
