Kiya Survivors is a grass roots, international development charity committed to providing a new beginning for children and young people in Peru who have special needs or have been abused or abandoned and to families living in poverty and vulnerable situations. We help them gain independence through education and therapy. Kiya Survivors has been working in Peru since 2001 and currently runs successful therapy, outreach and back to school support programs along with funding education and living costs for children in need.
FINANCE MANAGER ROLE:
Kiya Survivors (KS) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to begin working as our Financial Manager. We are looking for someone to join the team on a part time basis, working approximately 3-4 hours per week.
As a small charity we are looking for a ‘hands on’ individual who can actively contribute towards the success and future financial and strategic development of Kiya Survivors.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
- Updating financial information/weekly transactions on liberty; Providing a weekly summary: donor income; volunteer income; just giving income; other income; outgoings; closing bank balances; Applying for Gift Aid on a quarterly basis and ensuring all our sponsors and donors have a signed gift aid form; Respond to financial queries; Ensure the payroll and PAYE payments are made on time; Prepare and submit the Annual accounts/return on time; Liase with accountants as needed; Biweekly or monthly team calls to present financial progress/forecast etc
